it's all in the eye of the beholder

it's a low key family friday night. (birthday barbeque, home early to just hang out) that's what weekends are for -- to recharge. if you're like me and you sneak a little work in there -- don't tell yourself and you will feel like you have a fabulous work/life balance

this afternoon i did a little close by wellington street (love the walk/shop combo) shopping today with my (almost cooperative) littlest guy looking for a finishing jewelry touch for his gram's birthday basket and for fall decor trinkets for the house. his favorite find (after earrings for gram, of course) was a little handcrafted mini nest where he is placing his recently found white rock that looks very much like an egg. gotta love decor that help mesh the boy nature collection with the shabby chic bling.

i'd promise to get up early tommorow and write, but it's shaping up to be a chauffering the kids around day -- perhaps a little session in the afternoon.

i'll let you know
