life as a muse

There is something to be said for everyday mundane things being fodder for prose. Sure, as I wash the dishes, scrub the bathroom, and pull the kids down the mini "hill" in our yard on the tobaggan, it's taking away from my writing production time. But, I suspect, that even if I could farm out all those activities to make more time for writing, I would sit at my computer and stare at it without the inspiration i now feverishly type into it in the middle of the night. Even so, come and stop me if you start reading articles with laundry themes and snotty nosed prose. I may need help.
